The Simpsons Halloween Contest 2003
Rules

Here is a breakdown of the general information and rules.

  • Your vote must be cast at the topic for each match-up.
  • One vote per person. Any suspicious votes will be investigated.
  • This contest is for the best Halloween tale, not the best Halloween episode. Keep that in mind when voting.
  • Much like the Treehouse of Horrors episodes the last couple of years, this contest will go well beyond October 31st. The contest will begin on October 26th and end on November 23rd. Each day there will be a new match-up. Each match-up will begin at 12:00 AM Pacific time, and end at 11:59 PM Pacific time. Any votes cast after 11:59 PM will not be counted.
  • In an effort to include every tale, The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror 14 will be included in the contest. The episode will air on Sunday, November 2nd here in the United States.
  • In the Preliminaries, you have to vote for the best tale out of the three in each match-up. After that the tales that made it through will be randomly paired for each round.
  • There are a total of 42 contestants in the contest, and if the numbers are split up it's plain to see that this can't be an even contest. Well, that's what the Wild Card is for. After all the winners for Round 2 have been decided, there will be a Wild Card match-up between the top losing tale from Round 1 and the top losing tale from Round 2.

The winner of that match-up will become the eighth contestant in Round 2, and the normal match-ups will resume.

  • That's it. Enjoy the contest, and vote for your favorites!
